What is Core EPA 10?

Core EPA 10

Core entrusbable professional activity (EPA) 10 describes an observable workplace-based activity for medical students to: “recognize a patient requiring urgent or emergent care and initiate evaluation and management.” It is one of thirteen core entrusbable professional activities created by the the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) in 2013 to define a common core set of skills expected of all graduating medical students.

What are the emergent conditions?

Nine emergent conditions were outlined by the AAMC pilot schools in 2014 and the eight supplemental conditions were outlined by the CDEM National Curriculum Task Force in 2010
